Welcome to the neighborhood!

Living in Minnesota or Western Wisconsin has some great benefits with many awesome opportunities.

With over 10,000 lakes and almost 70,000 miles of rivers throughout the state, its no surprise that we love being on or near the water. Minnesota has hundreds of miles of bicycle trails throughout the state, you can even ride your bicycle from Duluth to the Twin Cities! Plus, the Twin Cities region has consistently won awards for being bike friendly (yes, even in the winter).

If you’re more of a thrill seeker, what better place to take up waterskiing than Minnesota? Hudson, Red Wing, and Stillwater are just  a few of the many charming towns you’ll find dotting both sides of the Mississippi River. Take a drive along historic Highway 61 in the fall to view bald eagles soaring over the river as you take in the changing leaves and breathtaking views along the scenic river bluffs.

If bald eagles and scenic river bluffs aren’t your thing, head north in the winter for some of the best cross-country skiing in the state. You’ll find yourself immersed in serene pine forests, and if you’re lucky, you might spot some incredible wildlife. From moose to mink, Minnesota has some of the heartiest residents in the country.

Minnesota has 75 state parks and recreation areas throughout the state, with many of them open year-round. Whether you’re canoeing in the summer, or ice fishing in the winter, you’ll find yourself in good company.

Speaking of good company, did you know that Minnesota is home to seven Fortune 500 companies and nearly 200 colleges and universities? Their strong presence here is just part of the reason why Minneapolis and Saint Paul are continually voted one of the nation’s happiest places to live. Rochester is home to the world famous Mayo Clinic, a destination for those seeking quality and specialty healthcare. The Duluth/Superior region boasts beautiful views of Lake Superior, and all the recreation opportunites that accompany living by the largest freshwater lake in the world. If it’s a vibrant small town feel with all the big city amenities you’re looking for, be sure to check out the greater St. Cloud area! And don’t forget the biggest experience of all, Mall of America. The largest indoor mall in America has over 500 stores located inside it and is host to over 400 events each year!

There’s truly something for everyone here and we hope you’ll love living here as much as we do.
